Stress & Burnout Counseling

Are you so good at hiding your anxiety and stress that people don’t even notice that something is off? You may struggle with shutting off your mind at night because of racing, anxious thoughts. You may find that you’ve even become irritable with your family or friends, due to your high stress and anxiety.

People may describe you as “Type A,” a workaholic, and always reliable. Sounds great right? Maybe. Until you notice yourself ALWAYS working and not having enough time for your friends and family. You may struggle setting boundaries for yourself and others but you REALLY want to change. I can help with that.

Finding Freedom

Imagine this. You wake up in the morning, NOT dreading the work day for once. You get ready and head to work feeling prepared for the day. You are not exhausted. You are positive and confident. After work, you start your commute home and instead of heading to your room to binge on Netflix or YouTube like you usually do, you decide to go for a walk or write in your journal on your porch. Then you find you actually have energy left over for your family in the evening. You found freedom from stress & burnout.

In counseling sessions with me, we will explore your triggers for stress and determine what we can possibly change. I help teach clients coping skills for dealing with stress and learning how to find and implement healthy work/home boundaries. There is hope for change!
